In this week, alternating with "farmer" work in my little garden, I have made some new experiments with brushes and experiments on ingres paper. I greatly simplified the construction of the watercolor brush, leaving the effect of the tint on the support on behalf of a "layer mask" with the typical paper texture.
The brush is not dynamic and contains only a circle with a radial degrade with accentuated edges, this mimics the typical watercolor effect of concentrating pigments on the edges of the brushstrokes.
On the background I applied the spread filter to give that halftone effect.
