A small step by step
This image was created for a specialized magazine, initially I used the inkscape calligraphic nib and added some general color spots. It was further treated with Gimp, inserting spots of colors or darkening here and there!
In Gimp it was improved by adding other patches of color or darkening some details like on the girl's blouse. Finally I applied a filter to emulate Murillo paper.
