Experiences with digital xylo are going well with some new dynamic brushes (more exactly chisels for virtual wood!) that mimic cutting in wood with some of the natural uncertainty of the medium.
Now I'm looking for a way to create the most real wood patterns possible, in this case I used pine. Finally I created a texture from the original through an intriguing Gimp plugin. It seems very interesting to me, because it creates a completely natural effect.
